Tart Cherry Juice Benefits
Research has shown tart cherry juice benefits may include reduced muscle pain, inflammation, systolic BP, LDL cholesterol and Cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors. This could be particularly beneficial to runners, those who exercise vigorously and people suffering with arthritis, inflammation issues and gout.
Cherry Juice for Gout
It is thought some 25% of gout sufferers have tried cherry juice and cherry products to relieve gout symptoms. Studies have found cherry products may reduce inflammation and pain associated with gout flare ups. Patients looking for pain relief may feel more comfortable using this more natural alternative to over the counter medicines.
Tart Cherry Supplements
Tart cherry products include cherries, cherry juice, cherry concentrate and cherry supplements. Cherry juice and individual cherries can be a delicious way to relieve inflammation but they can be pricey and more difficult to obtain. If you are looking for a product with less calories, ease of use and less cost you might want to consider a cherry supplement.
